Since arriving in the United Kingdom in 2023, I have witnessed firsthand the growing reality faced by migrant communities. Families constantly search for travellers willing to carry small parcels home or bring items from loved ones abroad. These informal arrangements, though rooted in trust and goodwill, often come with challenges: long delays, uncertainty around delivery, and sometimes heartbreaking incidents where parcels are confiscated because customs and aviation rules were not followed.

Mureza was born from this lived experience. Our platform connects travellers with available baggage capacity and individuals who need to send or receive parcels, creating opportunity while preserving the human spirit that has always powered diaspora communities.
